I really should be getting some work done LOL. But these faces were calling me to work with them! I feel like if I can get them on paper I can hold onto the visit for a bit longer. I am happy with this though it is a very simple layout for me. I looked through the gallery from camp scrap this morning and was struck by how simple so many layouts were so here is todays shot at it!

The first 2 page layout from my recent trip to Richmond. Skyler LOVES the camera. He would bring me the camera and then pose. And of course he is quite photogenic. Really loved doing these and getting to highlight his precious little face!
This was so much fun to make. I really love the Paper Doll dress up cartridge. Also loved playing with my stash and adding to the cuts. Hope the happy couple will like it too! Todays goal to learn how to make a pop up card and try to get inspiration for a swap. Have to play with it for awhile before I commit. I agonized so much over the last one and then when I got my cards back I was happy with my work. whew!

This is obviously Neals first birthday card..... I had so much fun doing this. It was a combination of a couple of cartridges and some MTC pieces too!! Really think that the little ones will like all the bling. It is quite busy but....... It is for a one year old. I am feeling so overwhelmed trying to get ready for this trip. I really get so stressed trying not to hurt anyones feelings and still have an enjoyable visit. It is sooooo hard

Love this layout. It is so awesome that I am able to keep up with the grands even being hundreds of miles away!! Can hardly believe that I will be there the end of the week. Got to get Neals birthday card made.......

This should prove interesting, I am actually still at work! I am beginning to get the hang of the internet by way of the droid.... Feeling very overwhelmed with all that is going on this month. It is all great fun but just trying to get ready is exhausting!! Add camp scrap in and it is impossible. Really wish I could keep up but do not want to take the fun out of it by streaaing. Really wished I had a friend to ascrap with.....looking forward to the acrapbook expo today. Trying to keep myself pumped though it is hard going by myself. Will hopefully bw able to get this thing to work tonight and I will report back!

Wow, no attachment today. Just had to write a few things before they get away. I am still doing the happy dance from getting my card swaps in the mail! I hope that if and when I ever sign up for another swap I will be more organized and not put it off. I was just so worried that they would not be good enough.... Now I am anxiously awaiting mine and hoping that mine were not too inferior. I have been going through pics today for camp swap. This has motivated me to go back through some of my photos and try to get them a little more organized. But each session is soooo short because they end with me in tears. Life is just slipping away.......But hoping to finish a few layouts for camp this week end. If I want to be caught up before I go to the lake it will be 9 layouts and a few birthday cards.....hmmmm should I call in sick LOL

Another layout from camp. Who knew camp could be such fun!! I am having a yuck day (paying bills ugh) so instead of finishing up my card swap did this. Love the paper and thrilled with the way it came out. Now have to work on the bills and then I will try to finish up the cards but......

One more camp scrap layout. I used distress ink on the background and love the way it came out. I am really excited to be "forced" to try new things! Now I MUST finish up some cards before I continue to play at camp!

This was also from camp scrap. This was a sketch assignment. I wanted to add a page to all our beach pages that explored the ramifications of the oil spill. It is not much to look at but it needed to be done. It was a bit depressing so glad to get this one behind me.

I am working on learning to make "quick" cards so that I will be better about sending them. This is my first attempt and I am pleased with it.

This was a technique assignment, to splatter paint. I ended up streaking paint all over the background. I really loved the way it turned out. I also managed to get this scrapped and DONE less than 24 hours after the pictures were taking. Camp scrap is really helping to speed me up!!

This was way too much fun!!! This was for a color challenge for week one. Had a hard time incorporating purple so colored the bellies!! I am going to start on week 2 even though I am still not quite finished with 1. Goal to be caught up by the end of week 2 ??????

The calendar is in week 2 but I am still trying to play catch up with week 1. This is the first time I have ever used a flourish, I am afraid that is is going to be addicting!
